Your book is outstanding. Congratulations on the new edition. It makes a terrific gift as well.

What a great show today on “Around Noon”…I was very impressed with all the guests and the news and information provided. I look forward to visiting Lelolai and Sarava soon.

Did you pick up on the Argentina restaurant location mentioned by one of the callers? I would like to visit it. Was it “Boca”? I am not able to find it anyplace online.

    Thank you.

    • Thanks so much for your kind words. As you can see in my blog post about the show the Argentine place is called La Boca. The caller said it’s on Detroit across from the Happy Dog Saloon (that’s at W. 58th). I hope you’ll come back and write about the restaurant here after you go.

As the chef of our new project La Boca, I was happy to hear that our launch into the Cleveland restaurant scene came with promising comments from a listener on the air that attended a private preview. We are just into our first week of operation and are enthusiastic to bring a local version to Latin American cuisine. I have designed a very contemporary menu that highlights the various regions of South America including Argentina, Chile and Brazil but with a twist to beef, poultry, seafood and pastas that is anything but theme restaurant oriented. We are located at 5800 Detroit Ave on the north side of 58th Street. We offer an extensive all day menu of starters, flatbreads, innovative empanadas and various small plates. Check out our new website at labocabarrio.com and for all that pay a visit I am always on property and look forward to meeting new faces.

Hope you will give me a try
